El Yunque Rainforest of Puerto Rico

Tranquil and beautiful.

Elegant, secluded and enveloped by the jungle, the Rainforest Inn offers an exotic escape into the northern edge of the El Yunque National Forest. Though located at the end of a winding, mile-long drive through the forest, the inn is just a short drive from the popular Luquillo kioskos and Old San Juan. Innkeepers Renée and Bill provide a peaceful and environmentally-responsible hospitality at their residence, complete with a yoga studio, koi pond and a private hike that summits a waterfall overlooking the island. Each morning, Renée cooks gourmet vegetarian breakfasts enhanced by local ingredients and house-made specialties such as guava butter and mango-guava hot sauce. At night, guests can fall asleep in a paradisiacal ambience created by the sounds of rainforest wildlife and an unfettered view of the stars.

Reviews

“A Peaceful Rainforest Retreat”

"The location and ambiance was amazing. Perfect place to relax after a busy day of hiking in El Yunque. Breakfasts were creative and delicious. Bill and Rene were happy to accommodate my wife's food allergies."

“What a magical place...”

"My husband and I stayed at the Rainforest Inn for a portion of our trip traveling around the Isle of Puerto Rico. We could not have chose a better place to stay on the mainland. The Jungle Suite was the perfect room for a luxurious, magical and romantic sojourn on an island known as Isla de Encanta (The Island of Enchantment)."

“This Inn is a delight for every sense!!”

"My husband and I stayed at the Rainforest Inn for three nights as part of our 20th wedding anniversary. We cannot imagine a more idyllic spot in Puerto Rico. At night, our ears were treated to a chorus of tree frogs, and then the birds took up the chorus in the morning. From the moment we arrived, we were dazzled by the beauty around us, gardens and rooms are so tastefully designed to fit into the natural environment."
